2. Turnspit
The Turnspit dog was a breed that was specifically bred for the purpose of turning meat during the 16th century.
and was a common sight in kitchens across Europe and North America. Their small size and ability to run on a wheel made them the perfect choice for turning meat on spits for hours on end. However, as technology advanced, the need for Turnspit dogs decreased and eventually became extinct.
